Could it be the best viral video of 2008? I think so!

I’m a huge fan of viral videos, if you couldn’t tell.  One of the best I’ve seen in awhile is a video that Sumsung did for their new phone, the Samsung Omnia i900.  I don’t want to ruin it for you so check it out below and then tell me it’s not one of the best viral videos you’ve ever seen.  I dare you 🙂

Aside from cool videos, Samsung is also doing some pretty innovative stuff with their marketing campaign for the Omnia.  I’ve heard from my friend Ayelet of Blonde 2.0 that Samsung is working working with McCann Digital to promote the phone and as a big part of their promotion they are giving away the phone for free to popular bloggers.  Ayelet was lucky enough to receive a phone and you can read about some of her favorite features here.  Props to McCann Digital and Samsung for turning to social media and the blogosphere in their campaign and I look forward to see what they will come up with next!

Wayne Kusy’s Toothpick Model Ships

Wayne Kusy is a Chicago-based outside artist who builds models of 20th century ocean liners.  On first glance there is nothing out of the ordinary about these model ships.  However, if you take a closer look you will see that Wayne Kusy’s ships are made entirely out of toothpicks.

An Oldie but a Goodie…

For those of you who are familiar with my previous blog I have some good news:  “Toilet Humor Tuesday did not die with 365 Video Blog!!”

AVAM: A “Pretty Un-Museumy” Museum

Last month I finally had the opportunity to visit the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) in Baltimore, MD.  My mom had been talking about the museum for a number of years, telling me about different exhibitions she had seen at her “new favorite museum”.  I was anxious to see the place after all of my mom’s talk, so on my last visit to the States in July I took a trip to see the museum for myself.
