So I’ve finally gotten around to making my first crochet beast! His name is King Woolly McSheeperton and he likes things such as grazing, saying “baaaahhh” and being a sheep in general. I made him from a pattern, which can be found in Cindy Crandall-Frazier’s book Single Crochet for Beginners.

He can’t see you because he doesn’t have any eyes, but you can see him, so here he is! Baaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!

So I’ve made a second wallet and I’ve already started on a third– crochet is definitely addictive!  I like it because you can do it while you watch TV, ride on the bus, sit and stare at the wall… it’s the lazy-man’s hobby 🙂

So I’m still crocheting away!

I just made this beeee-oootiful crochet wallet for Bob Yarny McHook to carry all his change around in.

After I made it he told me that he actually doesn’t have any change because he is made of yarn, never leaves the house and has nothing to buy.  I guess I’m okay with that.  I can use it to carry around my change.

So I’ve decided to take up a new hobby– Crochet.  I got a book, Single Crochet for Beginners by Cindy Crandall-Frazier, and I’m teaching myself in my spare time.  Crochette is kind of like knitting but way cooler because you can make stuff with one hook instead of two needles.  Sure, it’s a little hook but it still makes me feel a little bit cool and tough like a pirate, specifically Captain Hook.  Ooh, maybe when I get really good at crocheting I can make a Captain Hook doll.  Yeah!
